Missing a day of school on occasion may not seem like much, but absences do add up! Consider the following. When a student misses two days a month, they miss 20 days of school for the year and are considered chronically absent. Missing two days a month of school, a student would miss more than a year of school by the time he or she graduates. Missing two days a month of school, a student misses 60 hours of reading and writing instruction and 30 hours of math instruction over the course of a single school year. Announcements Title I Schoolwide Plan and Parent Involvement Policy Eureka Elementary School held a Title I Committee meeting on September 18, 2023, and revised the Title I Schoolwide Plan and developed the Title I Parent and Family Engagement Policy/Plan and Procedures.
